It was about a year ago – around this time of the year – I was selected as an MMTA Commissioned Composer.
I immediately decided to compose a piano solo piece for my pianist friend in Paris, France.
After battling for more than eight months, I completed the piece on time to meet the deadline.
I titled it “Entre Noir et Blanc” (Between Black and White).
